ADC: I Would Prefer David Mark’s Faction And Our Faction Come Together And Fight The APC-Sani

In an exclusive interview on ARISE TV on Friday, April 3, 2026, Bala Sani, Chief of Staff to the Nafi’u Bala faction of the African Democratic Congress (ADC), emphasized the urgent need for unity within the party, declaring a willingness to work with rival factions rather than risk strengthening the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC).

Addressing the ongoing leadership dispute within the ADC, Sani made a notable conciliatory statement despite deep internal disagreements. “I prefer David Mark’s faction and our faction to come together and fight the APC government. He questioned the eligibility of members of the rival faction, particularly regarding constitutional provisions that require a minimum period of party membership before assuming leadership roles. He also criticized the manner in which new entrants into the party were registered, describing it as inconsistent with established guidelines.
