Social media users have taken to their official X account on April 1, 2026 to react to the statement that was made by Nigerian lawyer and human rights activist, Dele Farotimi after INEC removed the names of some leaders of the African Democratic Congress, ADC from its portal.
According to CHANNELS TV, the Independent National Electoral Commission stated that it will no longer recognize David Mark and the former governor of Osun state, Rauf Aregbesola as the National Chairman and National Secretary of the African Democratic Congress, ADC.
Reacting after the report surfaced online, Dele Farotimi claimed that the opposition members are preparing for an election while INEC and judiciary are prepping for a coronation.
According to Dele Farotimi on his official X account;
“The opposition members are preparing for an election, INEC, the judiciary and Tinubu are prepping for a coronation”.
