“We’ve Had Enough Of Condolences And Excuses. Nigerians Demand Action, Protection, And Results.”-Natasha

According to a report by Vanguard, Following the brutal attack on Angwan Rukuba in Jos that claimed over 30 lives, Senator Natasha Akpoti-Uduaghan (PDP, Kogi Central) has issued a scathing critique of Nigeria’s security leadership, demanding immediate results or the resignation of the Minister of Defence, General Christopher Musa.

The March 27 assault, which targeted primarily Christian worshippers during the Holy Week, has sparked national outrage and intensified pressure on the Tinubu administration’s security apparatus.

In a statement released via her official social media channels, Senator Akpoti-Uduaghan expressed deep frustration, contrasting the current bloodshed with the optimistic assurances General Musa gave during his Senate confirmation hearings.

The Senator noted that while she initially felt a sense of hope following the Minister’s presentation to the National Assembly, that hope has been replaced by the reality of recurring massacres.

“Dear General Christopher Musa, Angwan Rukuba serves as another harsh reminder that Nigerians remain unprotected,” she stated. “During your appearance in the Senate chambers, your statements were filled with promises, and I felt a sense of relief.”

The lawmaker characterized the latest violence in Plateau State as “yet another harsh reminder of the lack of protection for Nigerians.”

As the death toll from the Angwan Rukuba attack continues to weigh on the nation, Akpoti-Uduaghan emphasized that the time for official thoughts and prayers has passed.

She challenged the Defence Minister to prove his capability through tangible improvements in safety.

“Now is the time to demonstrate that you are different and ensure safety, or step aside,” the Senator warned. “We’ve had enough of condolences and excuses. Nigerians demand action, protection, and results.”……See More
