Omoyele Sowore has recounted a tense post-election encounter with supporters of the Labour Party, popularly known as “Obidients,” following the 2023 general elections, highlighting his stance on electoral integrity and the limitations of Nigeria’s judicial system.
In a video posted on his official YouTube account, Sowore explained that Obidients approached him claiming victory in certain contests, prompting him to challenge their approach to asserting electoral wins.
Sowore highlighted his longstanding criticism of Nigeria’s judiciary, particularly its perceived alignment with ruling powers, which he argues undermines fair adjudication in politically sensitive cases.
