Olisa Agbakoba & His Bro Gozie Were Biafra Soldiers, They Fought At Uzuakoli;Gozie Was Captured -Hon Abdul Oroh,

In an interview on State Affairs with Edmund Obilo, Hon Abdul Oroh, a former member of the House of Representatives and former Commissioner of Information, stated that Olisa Agbakoba (SAN) and his older brother, Gozie Agbakoba, were both Biafran soldiers during the Nigerian Civil War.

Hon Oroh stated that Olisa and his brother fought around Uzuakoli area during the war. He said towards the end of the war, Gozie was captured.

Oroh said Gozie was later taken to a Red Cross refugee camp where he met some soldiers who knew him. He stated that those soldiers helped reconnect Gozie with his brother, Olisa, at the refugee camp

In Oroh’s words: “Olisa and his older brother Gozie were Biafran soldiers. Eventually I think Gozie was captured. I think they fought around Uzuakoli area and all that but when the war was grinding to a halt, one of them was picked up and taken to Red Cross center”…..See More
