In an interview with FeelrightNews TV correspondent, Nollywood actress Adelowo Abimbola Caroline opened up about her life journey in remarkable detail. She shared her early experiences growing up in the North, how she broke into the movie industry, the passion that has driven her career, and how men have refused to help her because she refused to sleep with them.
While narrating how she was almost taken advantage of by a friend’s elder brother’s associate, she said that after completing her IT, she began searching for a job. However, a friend with whom she had served in the same organization during her IT referred her to her elder brother’s friend.
Further recounting the experience, she said: “That day was a Sunday. The man told me to gather my credentials and said that whenever he returned from a party he was attending, he would pick me up. He added that we would go to his house, spend the night, and then go together to his workplace the next morning, where I would have an interview.
“I agreed and followed him to his house. However, when we got there, he put me in a children’s room because his wife and children were not around at the time. In the middle of the night, I felt someone touching me. When I woke up, I saw him and asked what was happening. He told me that if I wanted the job, I would have to offer my body as leverage. But I told him I could not do that and that I would never have an affair with someone I would be working under.
“The following morning, he gave me some money he had brought back from the party and dropped me off by the roadside. I crossed to the other side and boarded a vehicle to Oshodi, while he drove away. When I got home, I called my friend and explained everything that had happened. She was very upset.”……See More
