According to a recent video by Brekete Family on Wednesday, March 25, 2026, Mary, a mother of four, has recounted the harrowing ordeal she faced after delivering her last child via cesarean section.
According to her, medical negligence left her with a retained placenta, requiring multiple surgeries. During her recovery, she claims her husband and his family abandoned her, citing cultural taboos after a doctor saw her nakedness.
After four months in the hospital, Mary returned home with her baby, only to be met with opposition from her father-in-law. She revealed that he instructed her husband not to allow her into the house, warning that her entry would lead to the deaths of all the children and her husband. Mary refused to heed the threat, stating, “God forbid. Nothing will happen to my husband or my children.”
