In A Targeted Strike, Iran Hits Israel’s Nuclear City Of Dimona And Haifa Following Trump Threats

According to a report by Al Jazeera, on Wednesday March 25, 2026, the commander of Iran’s Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps Aerospace Force has issued a stark warning to US President Donald Trump, declaring that any threat or ultimatum directed at the Islamic Republic constitutes an act of war — a statement that followed confirmed Iranian strikes on Israeli soil.

Majid Mousavi took to X to announce that IRGC forces had carried out attacks on the Israeli cities of Dimona (where Israel Nuclear facilities is believed to be held) and Haifa, positioning the operation not merely as a strike against Israel but as a direct military and political communication to the Trump administration. His language was unambiguous: Washington’s warnings have consequences.

The warning centered on Trump’s recent ultimatums regarding the Strait of Hormuz, the narrow but strategically vital waterway separating Iran from the Arabian Peninsula. Trump had reportedly given Iran a defined window — described by Mousavi as a “two-day and five-day” deadline — to comply with American demands regarding access to the strait. Tehran’s response, according to the IRGC, was the missile operation against Israeli territory.

“Every threat and ultimatum against Iran is part of an act of war,” Mousavi wrote, in what many observers are reading as an official Iranian doctrine that reframes diplomatic pressure as military provocation.

The choice of Dimona as a target carries extraordinary implications. The city in southern Israel houses the Negev Nuclear Research Center, long believed to be the heart of Israel’s undeclared nuclear weapons program. Striking — or attempting to strike — that location represents one of the most aggressive acts Iran has publicly acknowledged in its long-running shadow conflict with Israel.
