According to a report by Nigerian Tribune, on Monday March 23, 2026, Primate Elijah Ayodele, the Leader of INRI Evangelical Spiritual Church, has stated that the ongoing crisis in the Middle East will not lead to a third world war, claiming that Donald Trump has already lost the conflict he started in the region.
Ayodele made this known in a statement released by his media aide, he said both Trump and Benjamin Netanyahu have failed in their actions regarding the crisis, according to him, the outcome of the conflict has been revealed to him spiritually.
The cleric explained that he had earlier warned the United States not to go into the conflict, however, he said his warning was ignored and added that the situation would damage Trump’s image and reduce his popularity among global leaders and citizens.
Ayodele stated that God does not support the ongoing war and stressed that the world is not meant to experience another global war at this time, according to him, fears of World War III are not realistic, even though tensions are rising.
He further predicted that there could be another conflict involving Israel and Russia and warned that such developments could increase global tension and create more uncertainty.
The cleric advised world leaders to avoid violence and focus on dialogue, he said peaceful discussions and mediation are better ways to solve international problems and added that war only leads to the loss of innocent lives and destruction of property.
