According to a report by Anadolu Agency on Monday, March 23, 2026, A senior Russian defense official has issued a renewed warning over Iran’s military strength, calling for an immediate halt to the ongoing conflict involving Tehran, the United States, and Israel.
In remarks released by Moscow, the defense minister stated that Iran possesses advanced offensive missile systems that, according to his assessment, surpass certain capabilities held by the United States. He indicated that several of these systems have not yet been deployed in combat, suggesting that Iran retains additional military capacity beyond what has been seen so far.
“Yes, what we are saying is true, Iran possesses offensive missile systems that the United States does not have,” he said. He further noted that “there are highly advanced missiles that have not yet been used,” pointing to what he described as Iran’s depth in strategic weaponry.
The official also warned that Iran’s missile reserves could have far-reaching consequences if hostilities continue. “Iran has a stockpile capable of destroying the entire Middle East, not just Israel,” he stated, emphasizing the potential scale of escalation.
He urged Washington and Tel Aviv to immediately stop military operations and acknowledge what he characterized as the failure of their campaign against Iran. “We call on the United States and Israel to immediately stop the war and declare the failure of the military operation against Iran,” he said.
