In a recent video on i24 Tv, Prime Minister of Israel, Benjamin Netanyahu, has said Israel has dealt significant damage to Iran’s missile and nuclear programs through a series of military operations aimed at weakening Tehran’s strategic capabilities.
In a recent address, Netanyahu highlighted what he described as major achievements under an operation known as “Rising Lion,” which he said targeted key elements of Iran’s weapons development infrastructure.
According to him, the operation marked the first time Israel successfully created a direct route to strike and disrupt Iran’s ballistic missile production network.
“In Operation Rising Lion, for the first time, we established the route to significantly hurt Iran’s ballistic missile program and the production capabilities for new missiles,” Netanyahu said.
He also claimed that Israel had taken action against individuals involved in Iran’s nuclear research program, accusing them of working toward the development of nuclear weapons.
“The same thing with the nuclear program by delivering a heavy blow to the nuclear scientists who plan to establish, to build a nuclear bomb to erase us,” he stated.
Netanyahu further asserted that the individuals he referred to as nuclear scientists involved in the alleged program had been eliminated during the operation.
“They have been removed, so they cannot achieve that,” he said.
The Israeli leader explained that after the Rising Lion operation, Israel issued a strong warning to Iran’s leadership regarding any attempt to revive its military nuclear capabilities.
According to him, the warning was delivered jointly with former United States President, Donald Trump.
“After Rising Lion, me and President Trump warned the Supreme Leader of Iran that if you will try to rebuild your death industries, we will hit you with a force that you have never known,” Netanyahu said.
However, Netanyahu alleged that Iran’s leadership ignored the warning and instead accelerated efforts to rebuild its weapons infrastructure.
