Wike Will Be Nobody Today If Not For The Unholy Alliance Between Him And Tinubu- Dele Momodu

Dele Momodu, a member of the African Democratic Congress (ADC), has publicly challenged the ongoing criticism directed at former Vice President Atiku Abubakar.

Reacting to a recent video interview featuring Nyesom Wike, the Minister of the Federal Capital Territory, Momodu argued that the narrative blaming Atiku for the party’s internal struggles is fundamentally flawed and illogical.

He suggested that Wike has only avoided being kicked out of the PDP because of his strong influence over the judiciary and his close ties with President Bola Tinubu.

According to Momodu, Wike would not hold his current level of power if not for a calculated alliance with the presidency.

He pointed out that Peter Obi chose to leave the PDP on his own terms before the primary elections even began, so it makes little sense to blame Atiku for that departure.

“Wike will be nobody today if not for the unholy alliance between him and Tinubu. Obi left PDP before the Presidential Primary. How can any serious commentator blame ATIKU for the problems of PDP,” Momodu said.

Also, Momodu reminded the public that the decision to leave the presidential race open to all candidates was actually pushed by Wike’s own supporters.

Since Wike participated in that process and lost, Momodu questioned why Atiku is being held responsible for Wike’s personal political failures.

Momodu also highlighted that Wike’s shift to support the current administration happened only after he failed to become Atiku’s running mate.

He defended Atiku’s right to pursue his political goals, noting that the Nigerian Constitution allows every citizen the freedom to dream and run for office.
