Gunmen Shot My Chest & Stabbed Me,They Left Thinking I Was Dead So I Stood Up And Began Running—Bala

Joshua Bala, a victim of the ethno-religious crisis in Plateau State, has shared how he nearly lost his life during a violent attack while working on his farm

In a video shared by Trust TV, Bala said that he was in his farm working when gunmen suddenly attacked him. He explained that the gunmen shot him in the chest and then began stabbing him.

Bala said the gunmen eventually left the area because they believed he was already dead. He stated that he later regained consciousness and noticed blood flowing from his neck so he tried his best to run away from the area.

Bala also said that his sister was shot in the leg during the attack and later died from the injury. He added that he has now lost four sisters in different attacks over the years.
