Country Under Sanction For 47yrs Fighting Most Advance Armies For Weeks Without Blinking-Sani On Iran

Former Nigerian senator and human rights advocate Shehu Sani has weighed in on ongoing global discussions about Iran’s military capabilities amid rising tensions involving the United States and Israel.

In a post shared on his official X account, Sani reflected on Iran’s resilience, writing:

“A third world country under sanctions for 47 years now fighting the most advanced Armies in the World for a whole week without blinking. My thought is what if they were not under sanctions?”

Sani highlighted that despite enduring decades of international sanctions, Iran has continued to maintain significant military strength, allowing it to confront some of the world’s most powerful armed forces without appearing to falter. He suggested that the country’s ability to sustain itself under such pressure raises questions about the potential achievements it might have realized had it not been subject to these restrictions for nearly half a century.

According to Sani, the sanctions imposed over the years have likely influenced Iran’s defensive strategies, contributing to its capacity to endure external pressures while maintaining operational readiness. He argued that the country’s resilience under such constraints demonstrates both strategic ingenuity and a steadfast resolve in the face of international isolation.

The former lawmaker also used the discussion to caution against the dangers of escalating conflicts in the Middle East. He warned that aggressive military actions and unilateral interventions could undermine global stability and violate international law. Sani emphasized that Iran does not constitute a direct threat to the United States, suggesting that provocative measures could unnecessarily push the world toward greater instability.

Furthermore, Sani urged the international community and the general public to reflect on the wider human and societal costs of war. He noted that those who advocate for military confrontations are often far removed from the realities of conflict, enjoying safety while others bear the brunt of violence, displacement, and disruption.

Through his commentary, Sani framed the situation as a reminder of the importance of diplomacy, strategic patience, and consideration of the long-term consequences of military engagement, advocating for measured approaches to global security challenges…..See More
