We Will Not Remain Silent’ — Pezeshkian Condemns Reported Civilian Attacks

According to a report by Vanguard news on Monday 2 March, 2026, Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian has vowed that Iran “will not remain silent” following alleged joint strikes by the United States and Israel on civilian sites. In a message posted on X, he condemned what he described as attacks on a school in southern Iran and the Gandhi hospital in Tehran.

Pezeshkian argued that strikes on hospitals threaten lives, while attacks on schools endanger the country’s future, urging the international community to strongly condemn the incidents. Iranian officials claim that at least 168 people were killed in the reported school strike on Saturday, although both Washington and Tel Aviv have not confirmed carrying out the attack.
