Lauretta Onochie, a Chieftain of the ADC and former presidential aide has taken to her official X handle to voice her displeasure over the antics of some supporters of president Tinubu. According to the statements which were shared on her official X handle, she disclosed how they were instructed to support him by former president Muhammadu Buhari.
Former president Muhammadu Buhari played a significant role in the emergence of president Tinubu in 2023. The argument which had triggered massive controversies has been addressed by ADC Chieftain, Lauretta Onochie.
The prominent member of former president Muhammadu Buhari’s cabinet and ADC Chieftain in a recent statement which was shared on her official X handle, revisited the debate, accompanying it with a striking comment.
According to the statements which were shared on her X handle on Monday March 2nd 2026, the former presidential aide pointed out that it was impossible President Tinubu would have emerged without the absolute support of Muhammadu Buhari.
She further argued that they (members of former president Muhammadu Buhari’s cabinet), were all instructed to mobilize for Bola Tinubu. However, his supporters, according to Lauretta Onochie were not aware of the work done at the backstage.
While describing them as ungrateful, she pointed out that they will understand and accept the truth in 2027.
