He Didn’t Say He Tapped Anybody’s Phone, Don’t Try And Help Them To Put My Father In Prison -El-Rufai

According to a report that was published by DAILY POST, Bashir El-Rufai has reacted to claim that his father, Nasir El-Rufai tapped the phone of the National Security Adviser, Nuhu Ribadu.

This came after it was reported that the former governor of Kaduna state tapped the phone of Nuhu Ribadu to listen to his conversation.

Reacting, Bashir El-Rufai stated that the statement that was made by his father during his recent interview was misinterpreted. He said Nasir El-Rufai didn’t tap the phone of the National Security Adviser to listen to his conversation.

Bashir El-Rufai clarified that his father only accused someone of tapping the phone and sharing the information with him.

He said people should stop coming up with issues that will help the Federal Government to put his father in prison.

According to DAILY POST, Bashir El-Rufai said that;

“He did not say he tapped anybody’s phone. He alleged someone else did and shared the information with him. Don’t try to help them to put my father in prison”.
