Yahaya Ahmed, the district head of Doma community in Faskari Local Government Area of Katsina State, has stated that bandits recently attacked his community and killed 23 people.
In a video shared by News Central TV, Ahmed said many power were injured during the attack and some of the injured victims were taken to the Orthopedic Hospital in Katsina for treatment. He added that out of the 23 people who were killed, only four were single, while the rest were married men with families.
Ahmed said that even when soldiers arrived and saw the bandits, they did not open fire at the bandits. He stated that the soldiers did not shoot because they were not given the command to do so
In Ahmed’s words: “Bandits killed 23 people and left many injured. Some have been taken to the orthopedic hospital in Katsina. Only 4 out of the 23 were single, the remaining ones were all married with family. Even when the army came, despite seeing them they did not shoot because they were not given the command to shoot”
