Nigerian activist and former presidential candidate, Omoyele Sowore has taken to his official X account on Monday, February 9, 2026 to react after the former governor of Anambra state and Labour Party, LP, candidate, Peter Gregory Obi joined other people to protest.
This came after it was reported that the Senate rejected real time transmission of polling unit results.
In the video that Omoyele Sowore shared on his official X account, the people were seen protesting at the National Assembly.
Reacting, the former presidential candidate praised everyone who partook in the protest. He said the protesters did a great job.
According to Omoyele Sowore on his official X account;
“The organizers have announced that the protest will continue tomorrow, and I urge Nigerians to return en masse. We must be at the barricades again, louder, stronger and more determined”.
