Anambra: Adults In Onitsha Shouting “Soludo Show Me The Law”Have Buried Their Faces In Shame-Igbokwe

Joe Igbokwe, a chieftain of the All Progressives Congress (APC) has taken a swipe at supporters of the sit-at-home order in the Southeast, declaring that those who once championed the protest have now retreated in embarrassment

In a Facebook post on Sunday, Igbokwe criticized what he described as “foolish Adults in Onitsha” and alleged IPOB loyalists who mobilized young people to challenge Anambra State Governor, Prof. Chukwuma Soludo, during the height of the sit-at-home tensions.

According to him, the individuals who orchestrated public outbursts against the governor are nowhere to be found as realities set in.

“The foolish Adults in Onitsha and IPOB fraudsters who organized young people to be shouting ‘SOLUDO SHOW ME THE LAW’ have have gone into oblivion and buried their faces in shame. We are our own enemies & will receive sense las las,” Igbokwe wrote.

The APC stalwart suggested that the development vindicates the state government’s stance against the controversial sit-at-home order, which has disrupted economic and social activities across parts of the Southeast for months.

Igbokwe argued that those who encouraged defiance and public protests misled young people and created unnecessary tension in the region. He maintained that the Southeast must confront what he termed internal sabotage and self-inflicted setbacks if it hopes to move forward.

His comments come amid ongoing efforts by state governments in the region to restore normalcy and reassure residents and business owners affected by repeated shutdowns.
