Lizzy Jay, a Nollywood actress, revealed that a man hacked her Snapchat account and accessed a private video of her without clothes. She recorded the video while unwell to send to her doctor.
During an interview on the With Chude show, Jay explained that the hacker messaged her claiming he had her nude video. At first, she dismissed him as a bluff and even shared the message with her friends.
However, the man later emailed her with a screenshot from the video as proof of his claim. He offered her a choice: either he would post the video on social media, or she could pay him to refrain from doing so. In response, she challenged him to post it.
Eventually, the man did share a portion of the video on Instagram, but he removed it later. Jay noted that once he noticed her calm and unconcerned demeanor, he ceased all communication with her.
Jay recounted, “This person came to my DM and said ‘I have your nudes’. I was even showing my friends what he said, telling them to let him post it because I thought he was just bluffing and didn’t believe it was real.”
