In a new prophetic declaration, the Leader of INRI Evangelical Spiritual Church, Primate Elijah Ayodele, has once again spoken about the future of Nigeria’s political leadership, predicting that both former Vice President Atiku Abubakar and current President Bola Ahmed Tinubu could face major defeats in the 2027 general elections.
Speaking during a live prophetic session, Ayodele said he had long warned that certain political figures would emerge as game-changers in the coming polls. He boldly stated: “I told you two people will defeat Atiku and will defeat Tinubu. I’m still on it,” Ayodele revealed
The cleric stressed that Nigeria’s political terrain is heading toward a major shift, and that the outcome of the next elections would not necessarily favor the traditional heavyweights. According to him, new alignments and unexpected coalitions could spring up to challenge the dominance of the All Progressives Congress (APC) and the People’s Democratic Party (PDP).
Ayodele also emphasized the importance of unity within the opposition, warning that internal rivalries could still undermine their chances. He explained that if the right alliances are forged, the ruling party may struggle to hold on to power despite its nationwide structure.
Political observers note that Ayodele’s message reflects ongoing debates in Nigeria about whether the electorate is growing tired of the APC–PDP rivalry. Some believe his “two people” prophecy could refer to emerging leaders outside the usual political circle, while others think it might point to prominent figures already building momentum toward 2027.
The cleric’s consistency in issuing political warnings has continued to spark widespread discussion. His latest statement not only questions Tinubu’s ability to secure a second term but also suggests that Atiku’s presidential ambitions may once again hit a dead end.
