Adams Oshiomhole, Lawmaker representing Edo North Senatorial District in the National Assembly, has forgiven Philip Shaibu for his past actions and welcomed him back to the All Progressives Congress (APC) family.

In an interview with Arise News, Oshiomhole recalled an incident where Shaibu knelt down before him, describing himself as a “prodigal son”. Oshiomole stated that he didn’t ask Shaibu to kneel but accepted his gesture as a sign of remorse.

Oshiomhole emphasized the importance of forgiveness, citing biblical teachings. He acknowledged that Shaibu had made mistakes but chose to forgive him, hoping that Shaibu has learned from his experiences.

“You said you saw Shaibu kneeling down before me, I didn’t ask him to kneel down. He said he’s a prodigal son and that’s biblical, who am I to stop him. A father must have a large heart. We’ve welcomed him back into the APC family.
