You Must Agree With Me That Threats Of Protest Alone Has Achieved Its Aim – Oweizide Ekpemupolo

High Chief Government Oweizide Ekpemupolo, the Ibe-Ebidouwei of the Ijaw Nation, popularly referred to as Tompolo, has asserted that the purpose of the protest organizers has already been realized and that the president has heard their lamentation.

Vanguard reported that Tompolo begged the youth and organizers of the scheduled statewide protest to put it off, pointing out that the administration is making great efforts to address Nigeria’s issues with workable policies.

He said that Nigerians should be patient with the current government, pointing out that the suffering and starvation in Nigeria predate the Tinubu-led government.

Quoting him, “You must agree with me that the threat of protest alone has achieved its aim, as Mr. President has said it loud and clear, that he has heard the voice of prospective protesters.”
