Tinubu: Many Of His Special Aides Don’t Even Have Office, They Hang Around The Villa – Dele Momodu

A Publisher and PDP Chieftain, Dele Momodu has urged President Bola Tinubu to start trimming his overly large cabinet which he described as bloated and inefficient. He noted that many of the special aides within the administration lack defined roles and even offices, merely lingering around the villa without contributing meaningfully to governance.

He argued that the President would demonstrate a genuine commitment to the welfare of the people by cutting down unnecessary government expenditure. He also pointed out the impracticality of attempting to emulate the governance styles of wealthier nations, like the United States, in a country with significantly different economic realities.

He said in an interview with Arise TV, ”Once you reduce the cost of governance, you will see that you free up enough of our resources for the general good of our people. And the areas where I want the President to cut the cost of governance is from his cabinet. They are too many in there, it is a bloated cabinet. Many of his special aides dont even have Office, they just hang around the villa.

So if you cut down Governance from this area, then the people will say the President have good intention for us. We can’t copy other countries way and manner of lifestyle in Nigeria.
