Festus Keyamo, the Minister of Aviation and Aerospace Development has claimed that the individuals fueling the current protests aim to pressure President Bola Tinubu into negotiating power with them.

While sharing his views about the ongoing protests in a statement on X, Keyamo stated that no matter how many times President Tinubu revises his speech, those with malicious motives will dismiss it to justify their instigation of the ongoing mayhem in some places.

“Even if Mr. President officialABAT redrafts his wonderful speech one million times over, those with nefarious intentions will continue to pooh pooh it in order to justify their continued instigation of mayhem,” he wrote.

He stated that the true objective is to coerce the President into a power negotiation. Keyamo emphasized that the misguided and patriotic social media users, along with the criminals causing chaos on the streets, are merely pawns in a broader hidden power struggle.

“Their real intention is to force the hand of Mr. President (Tinubu) to negotiate power with them. It is as simple as that.
