Republic of Arewa: Someone Is Attempting To Destabilise Our Country, Pit Us Against The Russians — FFK
Femi Fani-Kayode (FFK), a former Minister of Aviation in Nigeria, has raised alarms over what he perceives as a deliberate attempt by foreign powers to destabilize the country. In a recent post on his verified Facebook account, Fani-Kayode claimed that seven Polish nationals were caught flying and distributing Russian flags during the violent protests currently taking place in Northern Nigeria.
FFK emphasized that the involvement of these Polish nationals is not coincidental, pointing to the deep-seated animosity between Poland and Russia. He suggested that the Poles’ actions are part of a broader strategy to create chaos and confusion in Nigeria by aligning the protests with Russian interests, despite Poland’s strong support for Ukraine in the ongoing conflict with Russia.
According to Fani-Kayode, these foreign elements are not acting alone but are collaborating with local agents and collaborators to spread propaganda. He highlighted that videos are being circulated showing an illusionary “Arewa Republic” with the Russian national anthem playing in the background, a move he believes is designed to incite further unrest and create division within the country.
The former minister expressed concern that this could be part of a larger plot to pit Nigeria against Russia and set the stage for a regime change, while the real culprits remain hidden. He pointed fingers at Ukraine and the CIA, suggesting that they might be behind this destabilization effort, aiming to weaken Nigeria and undermine its government.
Fani-Kayode issued a stern warning that Nigeria must resist any attempts to divide the nation, even if it means engaging in another civil war. He criticized Western powers, accusing them of pretending to be friends of Nigeria while secretly wishing the country ill and working to destabilize it since independence in 1960….See_More
