Reactions As Chidi Odinkalu Shares APC’s Campaign Promise In 2015 When Exchange Rate Was $1 To N185
Lawyer and human rights activist, Prof. Chidi Odinkalu has revisited one of the campaign promises of the All Progressive Congress during the 2015 presidential election.
The human rights activist made the post on his official X handle on Wednesday.
According to the post that Chidi Odinkalu made on his page, it was the presidential election between Goodluck Ebele Jonathan and Muhammadu Buhari. During the time, the exchange rate of the USD to Naira was $1 to N185. In one of the campaign promises of the All Progressive Congress, the party promised to reverse the exchange rate of the Naira to the USD if voted into power.
The statement says;
“Why APC? $1= N185. Because we can reverse this”.
