Osimhen: I Can Tell You He Would Not Be In The Team Until He Says Sorry For His Actions–Board Member
According to the report from the Vanguard, in the aftermath of Victor Osimhen’s recent outburst against his national team coach, Finding George, a board member of the Nigeria Football Federation stated that the Nigerian Football Federation (NFF) is seeking to make an example of the star striker by suspending him from the squad until he offers a formal apology.
He emphasized that the NFF maintains that Osimhen crossed the line with his public criticism and is determined to ensure that such behavior is not tolerated, aiming to send a clear message to the rest of the team about the importance of discipline, respect, and professionalism.
He said, “Osimhen is a role model and the only way we can help the incoming coach stamp his authority is by using him to set example.
