In Lagos When I Hear People Who Come From Ogun Telling Igbos To Get Out, It Is Nonsense – Bode George
Bode George, a former military governor of Ondo State and a member of the PDP in Lagos State, has stated that Lagos is a diverse and inclusive city, much like New York in the United States. He said Lagos has always been a place where people from different backgrounds and tribes can live and do business without facing discrimination.
In a video shared by Arise TV, Chief George expressed his frustration with certain people who asked the Igbos to leave Lagos. He said it is unacceptable because it goes against the spirit of Lagos, which has always been a hub for commerce and cultural exchange. He said that everyone should feel welcome in Lagos, as long as they contribute positively to the community.
