I Slammed Her Head On The Fence And Ran Away With The Bag But I Didn’t Know She Was Dead -Suspect

The Edo State Police Command has paraded the suspect accused of killing Glory Adekolure, a 22 year old Uniben undergraduate student. The Suspect whose name was withheld claimed that he had slammed the deceased head on a fence in an attempt to incapacitate her and escape with the handbag.

He pointed out that this impulsive act was driven by his fear of being discovered by an individual who had flashed a torchlight in their direction. He clarified that his intention that night was not to commit murder but to steal the girl’s handbag and phone.

He said in a police parade reported by Channels TV, “I didn’t want to kill her that night, my intention was to steal her handbag and her phone. I thought there was a lot of money in the handbag because of the way she held onto it.
