I Can Provide Proof Of Buhari Shooting GPMG, Who Gave Those Boys The Arms They’re Using–Bello Turji

According to Sahara reporters, Bello Turji Kachalla, a notorious terrorist and bandit leader in Nigeria, has accused Bello Matawalle, the Minister of State for Defence, of supporting terrorism in the country. Turji, who has been active in northern Nigerian states such as Zamfara, Sokoto, and Niger, made these allegations in a video obtained by SaharaReporters. The 28-year-old terrorist leader has a history of violence, including leading an attack in early January 2022 that resulted in the massacre of over 200 people in Zamfara State.

In the video, Turji claimed that the current Minister of State for Defence, who was the former governor of Zamfara State, has played a significant role in the ongoing insecurity in the region. He asserted that the backing of the past government under Matawalle is well-known among locals. Turji alleged that several high-profile bandits operate freely under this supposed protection, with their activities largely ignored or overlooked by authorities.

Turji provided specific examples, naming individuals and their alleged activities. He mentioned Dan Maigari, the brother of Bashari, who reportedly possesses 150 rifles and has coordinated attacks in Maradun. Additionally, Turji named Ali, a subordinate of Kabiru Mani, as responsible for attacks in Tangaza. These individuals, according to Turji, live openly and lavishly in Sokoto state’s capital, suggesting a lack of enforcement or accountability.

Further allegations by Turji included claims about the recent capture of weapons by Buhari’s brother within Sokoto. He challenged the authorities to debunk his statements, insisting that he could provide evidence of Buhari shooting a General Purpose Machine Gun (GPMG). Turji called on the government to clarify the origins of the arms used by these bandits and accused them of falsely blaming him for the violence and kidnappings occurring in the region.

He said: “The bandits attacking them are from the enclave of Shehu in Gonbro forest, in Sokoto. Dan Maigari, the brother to Bashari, has 150 rifles and has coordinated several attacks in Maradun. Ali, a boy to Kabiru Mani, is attacking Tangaza, and these are people living lavishly and freely in Sokoto state capital. Kabiru, Buhari, and others are living lavish lives in Sokoto.

“Within the last three weeks, Buhari’s brother was said to have captured weapon inside Sokoto. If I am lying, they should come out and debunked it. But I can provide proof of Buhari shooting a GPMG. They should explain to us who gave those boys the arms they are using. The government should explain this to Nigerians and stop accusing Bello Turji of killing and kidnapping people.
