Go And See Nwanosike preparing for war, wearing bulletproof; what has the CP said” -Chijioke Ihunwo

Chijioke Ihunwo, the Chairman of the National Youth Council of Nigeria, Rivers State Chapter, has spoken about the conflict involving 21 local government area (LGA) chairmen who have refused to leave office after their terms expired on June 17, 2024. He alleged that Samuel Nwanosike, the outgoing chairman of Ikwerre LGA was seen wearing a bulletproof vest as if he was preparing for war. He called on the Commissioner of Police to address this alarming situation and take steps to prevent more violence.

In a video shared by TVC, Ihunwo also called on the Commissioner of Police to take action against those causing trouble, including the outgoing chairman of Emohua LGA. He emphasized that their tenure has ended and questioned why they have refused to leave office.
