Ali Ndume Issues Apology To APC And Gets Chance At Regaining His Position In The House Of Assembly
Former Senator Chief Whip, Ali Ndume has reportedly made a public apology to the All Progressive Congress party for his statements about President Bola Ahmed Tinubu. A while back, Ali Ndume were live on Arise News Television where he made several controversial takes concerning the Nigerian Government.
He claimed that President Bola Ahmed Tinubu isn’t being fully made aware of the serious hardship faced by the citizens of the country. He also made claims that the doors of the President aren’t open to Ministers and other people in government.
These statements of his sparked controversies around Nigerian politics which eventually led to his removal as the Senate Chief Whip in the House Of Assembly.
According to Sahara Reporters, Ali Ndume claimed to have tendered his apology to the APC party after a meeting with the party’s national working committee in Abuja. He also accepted that he made a mistake by not speaking to the party at the first point before making those statements.
