Hunger Brought Me Out. I Don’t Have Money To Buy Fuel. I Don’t Have Money To Buy Whatever- Protester

Nigerians across the country have stormed the streets to protest against hunger and economic challenges in the country.

The protest which is tagged “#EndBadGovernanceInNigeria” has been gathering momentum among Nigerians, with many sharing their concerns about it.

One of the protesters who spoke to the newsmen in Abuja said that he came out for the protest because of hunger and insecurity in the country.

He said that hunger brought him out for the protest, and that he does not have money to buy whatever he wants.

In the video which was shared by Channels Television on X, formerly known as Twitter, the protester said that Nigerians are tired of the economic hardship and hunger in the country, and that the masses want the government to listen to the cries of the masses.

The protester who identified himself as Emmanuel Lanre called on other Nigerians to join the protest, saying that protest is a fundamental right of the citizens.

He said, “Today is the hunger day. We all promised you that we are going to be on the streets of Abuja, and hunger has brought me out. I don’t have money to buy fuel. I don’t have money to buy whatever. There is total bad governance.”

Speaking further, he said, “Look at us on the street. The protest has not been cancelled. We are on the streets. It’s 10 days, and if our demands are not met, we will remain on the street.

“Hunger has brought me out. Insecurity has brought me out. A lot of things are going on in this country, we can’t just keep quiet as a nation. I’m advising every one of us to come out and exercise our fundamental right as a people…..See_More
